U17AA Caps Win Gold
Congratulations to the U17AA squad for capturing the title at the Vaughan Rangers Earlybird tournament.

The Capitals had a strong combination of tough team defence and timely offence.

The Capitals started out with a 2-0 victory over North Toronto. Luca Athanassiou with the shutout.




Game 2 was a dominating 5-1 win over the host Vaughan Rangers. Led by a rugged Game by Defenceman Jonathan Curti, the Caps physically dominated from start to finish.

After another team shutout 4-0 over Goulding Park in game 3, the Capitals had a rematch with North Toronto in the semis. This time the team came away with a convincing  5-0 shutout. Goalie Nicholas Spognardi with the flawless game in net. Up front Matteo ADRAGNA led the way with 2 goals and 1 assist.

The finals was a rematch with the Vaughan Rangers. There was no doubt early as the Caps skating to a 4-1 victory. Adam Fiorucci scored 2 goals including 1 short handed. Nathan Downes contributed another goal from the point. Luca Athanassiou skated away with the finals MVP.

Other Goal scorers were Christian Fernandes, Justin Rodgriguez, Dylan Nayak and Mark Lamaj.

SEVERAL GTC teams show strong results in earlybirds

Congratulations to the U15A team and the U13A and U14AA teams

The U13A team skated away with the silver in the HUMBERVIEW earlybird. Congratulations to Marco Scorziello, Michael Storino and the the entire team for their accomplishment

Out of the gates flying with a surprise final appearance at the West Mall earlybird

Finally a great back to back showing by the U14AA team led by HC Bryan Lima. The team was on tough with strong division draws in both the Mississauga Earlybird and the Vaughan Rangers Earlybird. The team did not disappoint with two semi final appearances
