GTCaps U16A Montreal Tournament Winners
Congratulations to U16A boys and coaches staff. The boys for a second year attend Can/Am Challenge Cup this season in Montreal, QC. Previous season the boys brought home Gold from Lake Placid while this year they did the same bringing home another Gold Medal.
Round Robin Dryden Rouge, our GTCaps U16A came undefeated:
Game 1: GTCaps 2 - 1 Ted Reeve Thunder
Game 2: GTCaps 7 - 3 Westmall Lightning
Game 3: GTCaps 4 - 1 Whitby WildCats
Coming 1st on their group, the boys went to the finals to verse the 1st placement of Dryden Blanc, team Avalanche U16A. These two teams have seen each other on other tournaments and GTHL group. Both teams played a very skilled hockey game, but at the end only winner.
Gold Medal Game: GTCaps 3 - 2 Avalanche Well done to all the boys and coaches and good luck on the rest of the hockey season and tournament(s) ahead. Go Caps Go!!!
